THE HEART BEHIND THE PORTRAITS


I know how quickly a family can change.

I’m a wife, a mom, and now a grandmother (I know, I look way too young for all of that!). I’ve had a front-row seat to just how quickly one season of family life becomes the next.


The little hands you once held grow bigger. I’ve watched my children grow into adults, fall in love, get married, and now I’m holding a grandbaby and wondering how all those years could have passed so quickly.

And somewhere along the way, the ordinary moments become the ones you’d give anything to visit again.

That’s a big part of why I do what I do.


I don’t believe the photographs that matter most should live only on a phone or disappear into a folder on a computer. I believe they deserve to become something tangible—something you walk past every day, something your children grow up seeing on the walls of their home, and something that can eventually be passed down to them.
